Leak Inspection Services for High Performance and Conductive Reflective Geomembranes by Electric Arc
A major cellulose company faced the challenge of ensuring the impermeability of their pool. They turned to Development’s expertise in geosynthetics, choosing High Performance Geomembranes from Solmax, supplied by V-MAX, to meet the stringent quality and safety standards required.
To achieve flawless installation, Development implemented an innovative electric arc leak detection service in collaboration with V-MAX. This technique identified and repaired 36 faults in the primary geomembrane and 7 in the conductive reflective geomembrane before filling the pool, preventing future issues and additional costs.
This inspection process not only guaranteed the leak-proof integrity of the emergency pool but also highlighted the value of Development’s comprehensive technical support. Construction of Phase 2 of the San Felipe Landfill: Waste Management with SOLMAX Geomembranes
The construction of Phase 2 of the San Felipe landfill has set a new standard in waste management through the use of SOLMAX geomembranes. Geomembrane for Waterproofing Exposed Channel / Energy Sector
In the arid region of Calama, Antofagasta, the challenge was to waterproof a rainwater collection channel for a photovoltaic project near the Salar de Atacama. Due to intense solar radiation and minimal precipitation, a robust solution was needed to ensure the infrastructure’s durability over time.
The Solmax 2.5mm HDPE High Performance geomembrane was selected for its exceptional UV resistance and durability against solar-induced deformation. In addition to meeting technical requirements, its texture and white reflective top layer enhanced energy efficiency by reducing the surface temperature of the geomembrane.
