Hot Tapping System Installation in Sanitary Project - 355mm x 110mm Vertical

In response to a unique challenge presented by a sanitary company, V-MAX successfully performed a connection on a 355mm HDPE pipe without interrupting the water supply, utilizing the Hot Tapping system. The task involved installing a 110mm take-off for connecting a 100mm Air Valve. Using state-of-the-art PLASSON tools, the team completed the electrofusion connection in approximately 3.5 hours, conducting thorough testing to ensure the integrity and seal of the installation.

The results were successful, with a significant improvement in line pressure and a continuous, uniform water supply for the community. This project underscores V-MAX’s commitment to excellence and innovation, demonstrating its ability to tackle complex challenges and enhance the quality of life for the communities served. With solutions like this, V-MAX continues its mission to provide efficient and sustainable services.

Electrofusion Manifold 315x160MM

Within the context of a project commissioned by the water utility Aguas de Antofagasta, the challenge was posed to create a Manifold with three outlets in a 315mm PN10 pipe. This crucial component required 160mm flanged outlets to ensure connectivity with gate valves and facilitate integration with the new water distribution networks.

The main objectives of this project were clear from the outset:

  • Optimization of Project Execution Time: Aware of the importance of minimizing disruptions to water supply to the population, efforts were made to streamline every stage of the process, from design to final installation.
  • Minimization of Water Shut-off Time: With the goal of minimizing inconvenience for users, strategies were implemented to keep water shut-off time to an absolute minimum, thus ensuring continuity of service during project execution.
  • Guarantee of Quality Through Electrofusion Technique: The choice of the electrofusion technique for component joining was based on its proven effectiveness in ensuring robust and durable connections, fundamental for the optimal operation of the water infrastructure.

The success of this project is reflected in the results obtained. The images document the process from the fabrication of the Manifold to its final installation in the field. Nighttime execution was a determining factor in minimizing the impact on water supply, and pre-preparation with ready-to-install connections allowed for quick and efficient assembly.

In summary, this case of success not only demonstrates the adaptability and efficiency of the work team but also the commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. The combination of cutting-edge technology, technical expertise, and a customer-centric approach made possible the successful delivery of a project crucial for the region’s water infrastructure.

HDPE-PVC Sewer Transition Collar

In our project, the transition collar between HDPE and PVC sewerage is the solution that ensures seamless, leak-free flow. In the vibrant Biobío Region, this innovative system has revolutionized the installation of sewer networks for residential projects. Imagine a scenario where safety and efficiency converge. With our transition collar, connecting a 200mm PN10 HDPE main to a 110mm PVC sanitary pipe becomes a straightforward task. The key lies in the perfect electrofusion, ensuring a hermetic seal that remains intact even under extreme conditions such as earthquakes or high groundwater levels.

The results speak for themselves. We not only guarantee a 100% leak-proof drainage system but also provide a wide internal passage of 95mm, ensuring optimal wastewater flow. Additionally, our double-wall technology reinforces the joint area without compromising the pipe integrity. What else can you expect from our solution? Installation is a breeze, with a quick process that requires minimal effort. Fewer connections mean fewer potential failure points, resulting in a longer, worry-free lifespan. PLASSON systems are synonymous with durability and resistance, even under significant axial loads.

But the real advantage lies in our ability to anticipate challenges. The electrofusion joint not only ensures system integrity against invasive roots but also minimizes the risk of clogging, guaranteeing a continuous, unobstructed flow. In summary, with our transition collar, you are not just building a sewer network; you are building a network of trust and peace of mind for the future.

Hot Tapping Installation at 45° for Wastewater - 400mm x 250mm

In an environment where service continuity is paramount, we faced the challenge of connecting three new branches to a sewage line without interrupting the supply to the community. This project, executed with precision and efficiency, represented a notable success in terms of engineering and resource management.

Our task focused on connecting these branches to a 400mm Pn10 high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe, with 250mm loading outlets each. The highlight of this project was the need to make these connections without interrupting the water flow, thus ensuring continuous service to the population. To achieve this unprecedented goal, we implemented an innovative strategy using the Hot Tapping method at a 45° angle. This technique allowed us to make the necessary connections without compromising the integrity of the existing pipe, demonstrating the flexibility and effectiveness of our approach.

Thanks to our experience and collaboration with trusted suppliers like Plasson, we were able to use the right tools and machinery to carry out the process safely and efficiently. Additionally, direct contact with the authorities responsible for sewage supply allowed us to coordinate each step of the project optimally.

The final result was the successful installation of the three 400×250 mm branches using the Electrofusion system. After conducting thorough pressure tests to ensure the tightness of each connection, we proceeded to install the necessary valves to regulate the flow and ensure smooth operation.

This project not only represented a significant technical achievement but also a testimony to our commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction. In a sector where excellence is paramount, we take pride in exceeding expectations and making a tangible contribution to the community’s well-being.

High UV-resistant geomembrane for waterproofing a 40,000 m3 Potable Water Pool.

In the Ñuble region, V-MAX tackled the challenge of waterproofing a 40,000 m³ potable water reservoir. This critical project aimed to ensure the reservoir’s impermeability and maintain water quality under rigorous environmental conditions.

The proposed solution involved installing a 1.5mm thick HDPE geomembrane designed to withstand ultraviolet (UV) radiation. The white top layer of the geomembrane helped maintain dimensional stability and mitigate water temperature increases, optimizing conservation.

The use of the 1.5mm HDPE geomembrane from Solmax, certified by NSF 61 for potable water systems, ensured safety and durability.
